A variation for comfortable travel: double cross carrying position
With the double cross carrying position you tie a flat fabric cross on your back instead of a knot. This gives you the advantage of being able to sit down and recline comfortably on the bus or train, for example. And you can also carry a rucksack on your back if you’re going on a small walk or doing some shopping.
Didy tip
Be sure when travelling by bus or train to always sit in the opposite direction to the direction of travel so that your chest supports your child’s head if the vehicle has to brake suddenly.
Where’s the baby? Upright across your chest
From what age can I carry her in this way? from eight weeks onwards
Suitable for slings: size 6 and above
