How a Sling emerges
Did you know? Our traditional DIDYMOS wrap sling is shaped like a parallelogram. It’s this unique shape which gives you just the right amount of fabric to tie the wrap to your upper body with a knot or a ring.. A particular quality feature of our slings is that the fabric selvages have a double lining which allows all of our slings to maintain their shape after long-term use and frequent washing.
To ensure that you can use the carrying method that’s most comfortable for you and your child and that the sling isn’t too long or too short, we sew our DIDYMOS slings in sizes 2 to 8 . “Using this sizing, our mother set the international standard for slings in 1972 while developing the cross carrying positions. This standard still applies to this day,” explains Anna Hoffmann, Manager of the DIDYMOS brick and mortar store and babywearing instructor.
Do you need a longer sling? We’ll be pleased to make you special sizes upon request. Simply contact our DIDYMOS customer service team on +49 7141 975 71-0 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
“We check each individual sling very carefully before it leaves our warehouse in Ludwigsburg,” says Anastasia Daldou, Warehouse Manager since 2007. Our slings are also tested regularly for hazardous substances by renowned institutions. “Only once we’re certain that there are no defects and no quality issues whatsoever do we ship the slings to our customers all around the world.”
