Fair Production, Fair Trade
DIDYMOS slings and baby carriers are very soft, yet durable and, most importantly of all, environmentally friendly. They’re produced on a sustainable and natural basis, something of utmost importance to us. It’s only logical then that we exclusively use raw materials cultivated under controlled organic conditions for our yarns. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and other certifications in the preliminary stages of our production process also provide evidence that our processed natural fibres and dyes do not contain any toxic substances and are therefore particularly kind to the skin of child and parent alike.
We’re also fully aware of our social responsibility at DIDYMOS. Managing Director Tina Hoffmann is in regular contact with all actors throughout the production chain, promoting the things that are important to us: “We advocate fair remuneration and fair working conditions for our suppliers, and we’re explicitly opposed to child labor and exploitation. We share common values with our partners, and people are always at the heart of these values.” This is also something they all agree on: it’s precisely this cooperative approach that has ensured that the quality of our slings has remained high.
