We would like Children to feel comfortable in their Clothes
Clothing with no harmful substances, but still bright and cheerful. It should be chic, yet also comfortable and practical and, naturally, manufactured fairly. We set this standard across our entire product range. As a result, we offer you ecological clothing from birth to standard size 123, as well as toys and accessories that will get children’s pulses racing and even often encourage parents to play, too.
From underwear (bodysuits and shirts) and socks, pullovers, trousers and skirts, through to shoes and jackets, you can find everything that a child needs. Baby sheepskins, pyjamas and sleeping bags round off the clothing range.
We also offer many accessories for babies and nursery-school children. Hats for any weather, children’s books, and nursery or wheel bags, in many different versions and materials – there is something for everyone.
And for the adults?
We recommend the care series from Weleda, parenting guides (which we have read and found to be good), breastfeeding pillows and nursing bras, great nappy bags made from recycled materials, and naturally the original DIDYMOS baby wrap sling, the DIDYTai, the DIDYSling and other baby carriers –
find the right one to suit your needs with us.
Natural and Precious
In a world in which every romper suit screams ‘action day’, we place value on natural elegance.
Clothing should emphasise the individuality of the child, not cover it up.
It can be colourful. A smart cut and the finest materials are part of this and naturally no questionable materials can be included.
See, feel, smell – rely on your senses.
Great importance is placed on the absolute cleanliness of the materials used. Textiles, in particular, are produced under enormous cost pressure in the globalised world. Risks and side effects are often accepted (e.g. child labour, unsafe factories at risk of fire, exploitative working conditions).
What we don’t want
We select our suppliers very carefully. They are mostly manufacturers from Germany, the United Kingdom, Denmark and other countries that have pursued a consistent, ecological orientation for a long time and have been able to survive in this niche in high-wage countries.
DIDYMOS is also one of these companies. We have thus known the market for ecological textiles since it was created and we only sell what we would also buy for our own children!
