Good times, challenging times - babywearing matters. Always!
The 4th Trimester, this is the theme of this year‘s babywearing week. A period of about three months after the baby is born, it means the transition from the life babies knew inside the womb to the outside world which is so different. A transition, from one world to another - carried in your arms and in a soft carrier, the transition can be gentle.
We are excited to take part again in the EBW events and are weaving and manufacturing baby wraps and carriers featuring the lovely design Simoni Gruber, designer and passionate babywearer, developed to illustrate this year‘s theme.
Woven from organic cotton, the wrap features a broad, deep blue stripe that runs lengthwise through a gradient of rainbow colours. Butterflies mark the transition from the rainbow colours to the contrasting stripe.
Rainbow colours are often symbolic for hope and future and, in many cultures, butterflies are powerful representations of life – combined in this wrap they stand for a positive outlook to life.
Made from 100% organic cotton and dyed with non-toxic dyes, the fabric is absolutely free from any harmful substances.
Medium weight, the wrap provides perfect support in width and length. It has good diagonal stretch, it is soft and moldable and ensures a snug, smooth fit. It can be tied in such a way to provide excellent support to your baby or toddler whether carried in a front, back or hip carrier.
A beautiful and comfortable allrounder wrap that will accompany you and your child from birth through the 4th trimester and many months beyond.
