A droplet-shaped vegetable motif of Persian origin, the Paisley pattern became very popular in the West in the 18th and 19th centuries, especially in the form of Cashmere shawls.
Today it is a design classic and can be found in many cultures, in clothing, architecture, carpets, curtains, jewelry, etc.
Fascinated by the beauty of this pattern, we thought it was worth to be woven with the pure organic cotton yarns that we use for our baby wraps. The silver grey and light grey warp threads combine with the turquoise yarns of the weft and create a very decorative, floral pattern with an Arctic blue touch of subtle shine.
It is a soft, Jaquard woven fabric made all in organic cotton featuring the same pattern on both sides, the colour palette is reversed. Medium weight with inherent diagonal stretch, the wrap is wonderfully comfortable to tie and to wear and holds and supports newborn and older children as well.
